I am a freelance artist, mostly self taught, and, of course, had to start with what, by and large, most people agree is the most difficult animal to draw - the horse. Well, it's thre....several years later and I'm still at it. Though my chosen medium has moved largely on to the 3D scale. I still do occasionally draw and paint, but not nearly as often now that I've discovered DAZ Studio.
I am a published poet and short story writter and used to run several online RPG groups before the base server shut down and forced everyone to convert over to another system...that didn't work out so well for my groups.
Years ago I was an avid model horse shower and customizer, but, alas, that too seems to have taken a backseat to merely collecting and dabbling with the occasional custom. I've been a collector for 30+ years and, at last count, my collection spanned well over 1500 models of all shapes, sizes and makes.
I am a voracious bookworm, history buff and mythos hound. Particularly of ancient cultures - Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Norse and Celtic...to name a few. As well as being active in Renissance faires (not SCA or affiliated with any Guilds....we're working on that though).
I'm just getting started here at Diviant, so, please be patient with me (I'm still figuring out how to do things around here), and any help you more savvy artists can offer would be greatly appreciated.
